Take It To The Streets

Some exciting things have happened through our street ministry. Last fall LWCC workers prayed with 1,354 precious souls at the Minnesota State Fair. Then we had a city blitz (evangelism event) at our satellite church in Eau Claire, Wisconsin during the Labor Day weekend. We led 701 people to Christ at the UWEC campus and also on the streets of Eau Claire. Their church went out the week afterward and prayed with another 36 people to receive the Lord. They are on fire!

A team of 11 evangelists travelled to Fort Mitchell, Alabama and conducted another city blitz where they had the honor of praying with 428 souls to accept Christ. A deaf and dumb man was healed on the streets! Back home in Minneapolis three people who were deaf received their hearing.

We achieved the soul goal for our street ministry in 2008. With a goal of 40,000 confirmed salvations we prayed with 44,300 souls.

This weekend dozens of soulwinners are sharing Jesus at the Cinco de Mayo celebration in St. Paul, Minnesota. In a couple of weeks a team will travel to Milwaukee Wisconsin to once again 'take it to the streets.'

Evangelism Pastor Nick Kinn has been keeping records from 1986. Living Word teams have prayed with over 974,333 souls to accept the Lord! We have a vision to have prayed with a total of 1 million souls before the end of this summer.

Praise the Lord for what He continues to do through the faithful ministers from Living Word Christian Center.
