Prophetic Evangelism

Doug Addison has been a pastor and church planter and is the author of the book, Prophecy, Dreams, and Evangelism. In 1985 he had a dramatic encounter with Jesus after having a reading done by a psychic. Since that time, Doug’s passion is to reach people who don’t know God’s love.

In this short interview Steve and Doug are talking about Prophetic Evangelism two words that are usually discouraging and misleading to most Christians. But don’t get the wrong idea, this topic is not for the overly spiritual.

Prophetic evangelism is something that almost anyone in the Church can relate to and practice in a powerful way. My colleague , Pastor Nick Kinn, credits prophetic evangelism for many of the miracles he has seen in leading over one million souls to the Lord.

Tears and Cheers

This week was an eye opener for me.

My assistant Adam and I took the last three days to personally deliver financial gifts to support the work of local ministries and to see the wonderful things they are accomplishing.

Every ministry we engaged this week was genuinely blessed and encouraged by our partnership with them. There were tears of joy and cheers of gratitude.

Thanks to the generosity of our Living Word congregation the vision that God has placed in their hearts to be an example of God’s love can continue.

Too often I get immersed in the demands of ministry and forget about all the wonderful work going on in our communities. It won’t ever happen again!
